Stan & Diane Proctor

Stan G. Proctor, Pastor

Pastor Stan retired from his former church in January 2021, after 17 years there and 30 years in pastoral ministry.   As God would have it that was short lived when he was called as Pastor to Crossway in March of 2022.
He has taught at several colleges and universities, preached revival meetings, served as moderator of a Baptist Association, been involved in local mission efforts as well as mission trips to Honduras, Nicaragua, and twice to mainland China.

He served as Pastor on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, in north Mississippi, and in Florida since entering full time ministry in 1991.  Since then, people have experienced spiritual growth and a revived walk with the Lord.  God has gifted him to preach, teach, and to challenge the Lord's people to experience a closer and deeper relationship with Christ, which is his personal passion.
Although he had pursued an education in a secular profession, Stan began his formal ministry studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and finished his studies at William Carey College in Hattiesburg in 1999.  He holds a Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies and a Master's degree in Education.
During the 30 years of formal ministry, he has also taught as an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College, Florida State University, Pearl River Community College, and University of Southern Mississippi.
He is a U.S. Army combat veteran who received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals, while serving in the Republic of South Vietnam.  â€‹
He and his lovely wife, Diane, began their ministry 30 years ago here at Crossway and count it a privilege to once again serve God and His people here.
